Vern Rampton, P.Eng. Ph.D. (Geology) - President and CEO, Director

Dr. Rampton was appointed President and CEO of MLM on inception and has over 40 years of experience in all aspects of mineral exploration and development in domestic and international jurisdictions, from grass roots exploration through to corporate direction and management.

Dr. Rampton was President, CEO and a Director of Kinbauri Gold Corp. from its inception in 1984. He negotiated the $5M acquisition of the El Valle/Carlés mines in northwestern Spain in 2007 and led Kinbauri until its takeover by Orvana Minerals for $50M in the fall of 2009. During his tenure at Kinbauri he was responsible for its corporate strategy and management and as an officer and director played a leading role in all aspects of corporate governance, finances, strategy and development of the Company.

He is also currently Vice-President and a Director of Carube Copper Corp. a TSX-V listed junior exploration company with operations in the Caribbean and Canada; and President and CEO of Auropean Ventures Inc., a private Ontario based company with operations in Europe.

He is a member of numerous professional associations, most notably a core member of the PDAC. He has authored/co-authored over seventy articles in his fields of expertise, most recently on the dispersal of ore tracers in surficial materials.

Dr. Rampton holds a B.Sc. Eng. (Geol) from the University of Manitoba and a Ph.D. (Geology) from the University of Minnesota. He is a professional engineer (Ontario) and is a “Qualified Person” under securities legislation in Canada.

Mr. Sutherland was appointed VP Exploration of MLM in June of 2017, and has been overseeing MLM’s exploration activities since inception. He has over ten years of experience working throughout Canada, Australia, China and the Caribbean focusing on early stage exploration and development projects for both juniors, majors and government. Tyrell was an exploration geologist at Goldcorp’s Musselwhite Mine, Kirkland Lake Gold’s Macassa Mine, and was on the team when the decision to mine Tropicana deposit was made by Anglogold-Ashanti. He has contributed to projects in the Yellowknife gold camp, Gowganda silver camp, Ryoun-Noranda VMS district, Pilbara Iron district, Jamaican porphyry district and north China Craton. He has consistently sourced significant government funding for MLM’s exploration programs throughout the most recent downturn allowing MLM to be strategically placed to take advantage of current market conditions.

He is also currently a senior geologist with TerraX Minerals Inc. aTSX-V listed junior exploration company with operations throughout Canada and Auropean Ventures Inc.

Mr. Sutherland holds a B.Sc (Hons) Geology from the University of Ottawa and an M.Sc Geology from Queens University. He is a professional geologist registered with the APGO and NAPEG.

Mr. Ackert began his career as a regional geologist with St. Joe Minerals, Bond Gold Canada and LAC Minerals in the 1980s. In 1990 he became mine geologist at LAC Minerals' Golden Patricia Mine (Barrick Gold Corp after 1994) where he specialized in production and exploration. In 1996 he was appointed VP Exploration for Orezone Resources Inc. focusing on West Africa and was subsequently named VP Technical Services in 2005. During his time at Orezone, its market cap increased from $2M to over $300M due to resource development of various projects in West Africa including Essakane, Sega and Bondigui in Burkina Faso. Since 2007, Mr. Ackert has been the sole principal of JSA International Geoconsulting. He is President, CEO and a director of Carube Copper Corp. He is also a director of Advance Gold Corp and Altai Resources Inc, both listed on the TSXV. Mr. Ackert holds a BSc. in Geology from the University of Toronto.

Mr. Ewart, CA, BBA, is a Chartered Accountant with over fifteen years of broad-based experience as a senior financial officer in the Aerospace & Defence, Construction, Manufacturing, Resources, Not-for profit and Hi-Tech sectors and over eight years as a financial consultant in the private sector. As a founding partner of EM Consulting in 2009, he provides on-going business and financial support to entrepreneurs.

He has for his employers and clients provided management services regarding financial reporting and internal controls for companies with over $100M in revenue and 350 employees; on-going marketing support; facilitated increases in working capital and credit lines by over $30M from venture capitalists, bank and others; and participated in start-up of a $90M European joint venture.

He has held the following positions: Accountant, Touche, Ross & Co., 1983-1986; Controller, Canadian Payments Association, 1986-1999; Director of Finance Cebra Division, Bank of Montreal, 1999-2001; Chief Financial Officer, MDS Group, 2001-2009; and Principal E.M. Consulting 2009—Present.

Mr. Ewart is a Chartered Accountant (Nova Scotia Institute of Chartered Accountants) and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Prince Edward Island (Dean’s List).

Mr. Munro’s business career includes ten years in the practice of law (criminal and civil), ten years as an investment advisor and thereafter 20 years of experience in all aspects of corporate management including administration, legal, financing and investor relations for both private and public companies. He is currently Corporate Administrator of both Carube Copper Corp. a TSX-V listed junior exploration company with operations in the Caribbean and Canada and Auropean Ventures Inc., a private Ontario based company with operations in Europe.

Mr. Munro has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick and a Bachelor of Law degree (LL.B) from Queen’s University. He is actively involved in coaching minor football as well as fundraising for various athletic programs and charitable initiatives.

Mr. Irwin was Corporate Secretary for Kinbauri from 2004-2009. Prior to that time he advised Kinbauri on securities matters. Mr. Irwin is a principal of Irwin Lowy LLP, a Toronto based law firm specializing in Corporate and Securities Law. Between 2004 and 2006, he was associated with Wildeboer Dellelce LLP. From 1998 to 2004, he was associated initially with Boyle & Company and subsequently with Power Budd LLP. Presently Mr. Irwin is a director and/or officer of a number of private and public companies.

Mr. Irwin received his Bachelor of Arts from Bishop’s University in Lennoxville, Quebec in 1990 and his Bachelor of Laws from the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, New Brunswick in 1994. He has been a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada since 1996.

Mr. Leblanc began his career on the money market desk at the Bank of Canada in 1973 and in 1977 moved to Export Development Canada as an International Economist.

In 1984 he was hired by McLeod Young Weir, a Canadian investment dealer, which later became Scotia McLeod. In 1992 he joined Richardson Greenshields who were then acquired by RBC Dominion Securities in 1996. Greg’s entire career was spent in Ottawa where he specialized in commodity and currency futures and options. He was named a Vice-President in 1996 and held the position until he retired in 2009.

He currently acts as a commercial real estate developer in the Ottawa region and holds positions on the Boards of several quasi- governmental institutions. He is also a Director of Carube Copper Corp. a TSX-V listed junior exploration company with operations in the Caribbean and Auropean Ventures Inc., a privately held junior exploration company with operations in Spain and Slovakia.

Mr. LeBlanc holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (Economics, Math) from Queen’s University, and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Ottawa.

Lee Bowles, DirectorLee Bowles is the founder and principal shareholder of investment advisory firm Ironstone Capital Corporation. Ironstone specializes in counseling emerging resource based companies regarding share capital, alternative financing, initial public offerings and strategic initiatives. He has been in the investment business since 1994 where he worked for several leading independent investment dealers in the major finance centres of Toronto, New York and London as a fixed income trader, investment banker and in institutional sales. He has been credited with helping build one of Canada's leading resource focused investment dealers. Most recently, he specialized in providing institutional equity sales coverage with a focus on European based institutions. Lee maintains substantial connections to financial market insiders, analysts and managers.
